All specialty curricula meet or exceed state standards, ensuring that students receive a robust and well-rounded education in the arts, physical education, and technology.

Music

In our music program, students can take a small group lesson on a variety of instruments, such as the ukulele, drums, guitar, piano, and recorder. These lessons are tailored to individual needs, helping each student to develop their musical skills. Students also have the chance to present their talents at school events, further building their confidence and stage presence. Our engaging music classes delve into various musical genres and traditions, nurturing a deep appreciation for the art of music.

Art

Our arts program nurtures creativity and self-expression through drama, music, and art. Each year, many of our students proudly participate in an annual drama performance that consistently sells out, showcasing their talent and hard work. Opportunities to serve as an actor or part of the cast or crew are plentiful, with past productions including beloved shows like Frozen KIDS and Musicville. These experiences not only hone students' public speaking skills and confidence but also foster teamwork and dedication.

Our art curriculum is multi-dimensional, embracing both traditional techniques and innovative approaches. Students are encouraged to explore their artistic potential and express their unique perspectives through a range of media. The school is equipped with a dedicated art space and a kiln. Integration with Judaic learning enhances the art program, providing a rich context for creative expression.

Technology

We equip every student for technological success by providing individual Chromebooks and offering classes in essential skills such as typing, research, and presentation. Our students work closely with their teachers to ensure developmental appropriateness of online study, online safety, and integration of the technology curriculum with other educational topics.

Physical Education

Our Physical Education program promotes fitness, teamwork, and health literacy. Students participate in activities that develop their physical skills, coordination, and overall well-being. Our curriculum includes traditional sports, fitness exercises, and fun games to encourage active participation and enjoyment.

We emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, collaboration, and perseverance, helping students to build confidence and positive social interactions. Through regular physical activity, we aim to instill lifelong health and wellness in our students.
