Cultivating a Lifelong Love of Learning

The General Studies Program at Syracuse Hebrew Day School is designed to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Education at SHDS extends beyond the classroom walls. We offer numerous clubs that complement our curriculum. These opportunities allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. Additionally, we organize trips to various educational and enriching locations such as The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology (MOST), the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and the New York State Assembly in Albany.
